Founded in 1962, ASM has been educating international students from more than 70 countries for more than 60 years. ASM inspires students to discover their unique potential and to be curious learners, critical thinkers and global citizens who positively impact our world. ASM is accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is an IB World School offering the Diploma Programme since 1983.

ASM offers a student-centered, American-style education that encourages children to develop their full potential, achieve personal excellence and become global citizens committed to lifelong learning. We embrace the IB learner profile along with our school values of respect, curiosity, integrity, courage and kindness. Technology is a key focus at ASM and an integral part of student learning. Our elementary school integrates ipads to prepare students for the 1:1 laptop program that begins in Grade 6. The school also offers 3D design, robotics, digital art and photography and film courses in our ultramodern film studio. There is wifi campus wide.

Set in 9 acres of green space, our modern campus boasts many state-of-the-art science laboratories, two full-sized American gymnasia, a tennis courts, a grass soccer field, and a 27,000 volume library complete with e-books, not to mention a 500-seat auditorium constructed in 2019.

Currently school enrollment is over 850 students and there are more than 100 full-time faculty employed. ASM teachers are talented, highly educated, experienced and, above all, inspiring leaders. The school encourages faculty continued learning through a substantial professional growth fund.

ASM was authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma in 1983. Students are also awarded the American School High School Diploma upon graduation. ASM student IB results have consistently surpassed world averages in terms of pass rate and average points.
