Established in 1972, BEPS International School is situated in the heart of one of Brussels' most desirable areas, close to the Bois de la Cambre and the University (ULB). BEPS caters for children between 2.5 - 18 years old. The school aims to achieve its full capacity of 450 students in the coming years.

Our campus hosts an Early Years centre with an outdoor space, a Primary building with a cosy and inviting atmosphere and a brand-new Secondary building with a variety of "Co-learning" spaces. The transformation of the new secondary building in 2022 gave BEPS the opportunity to design spaces for innovative, authentic, and engaging learning; this matches the BEPS approach to learning.

The school offers inquiry-based learning through the International Early Years Curriculum, the International Primary Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate® Middle Year, Diploma and Career related Programmes (IB-MYP, DP & CP).

We recognise that each student has their own unique learning pathway, which we help them navigate, allowing them to dream big and shape their future. With small class sizes and individual attention, we meet each student where they are, fostering them to growth and engagement with the world around them.

BEPS takes a unique approach to delivering the IB curriculum, giving students the opportunity to be creative and innovative. Projects, critical and creative thinking skills and wellbeing form the core of our Middle School programme and are excellent preparation for the demands of the final years of secondary school. We give students the choice of where and how they learn best, building their skills to meet the needs of the 21st century.

Our learning and language support team helps students integrate into the school and supports them as needed. French is taught as a second language from the Early Years, and the development of the children's Mother Tongue is encouraged. Fluent French speakers are also able to obtain the Bilingual MYP Certificate and IB Diploma. Students also benefit from PE, Swimming, Music and ICT lessons, all of which are taught by experienced Specialist teachers. A wide range of after-school clubs and holiday clubs are available, as well as a garderie and a door-to-door bus service.
