We have offered the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for Years 11-12 since 1988, longer than any other school in New South Wales. The 30-year association with the IB has helped the school build its reputation as a leading provider of a well-rounded global education.

In embarking on the IB Diploma Programme at Redlands, students will commit themselves to:

- an outcome that will enable a smooth transition between school and university.
As a non-selective school, students who come from over 30 different countries have the opportunity to study for the IB Diploma Programme if they so wish. Careful guidance is undertaken in considering course structure and styles of learning to assist students in making the right choice for them. Each year approximately 50% of Redlands students select the IB.
Redlands IB Results
- In recent years, 15 Redlands students have achieved the perfect IB score - 45/45, putting them in the top 0.2% of IB Diploma Programme students worldwide.
- In 2022, 66% of candidates achieved an IB score of 37+, equating to an ATAR of 95 and above.
- Over the past ten years, a number of candidates were awarded rare bilingual diplomas - in French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Danish, Swedish and Spanish.
At Redlands, all components of the IB Diploma Programme are delivered by a strong team of IB teachers, including moderators in their subject areas, IB trained workshop leaders and experienced teachers.
