Established in 1912 Seoul Foreign School is a premier international school, known for its rich international history, academic excellence and deep legacy founded on service. SFS offers Pre-K to Grade 12 learning environment with an inclusive Christian philosophy. It maintains an ongoing mission to be a center of teaching and learning excellence driven by an experienced and passionate faculty.

SFS is the first and most experienced IB Diploma school in Korea and one of the oldest international schools in the world. The school offers the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP Candidate School), and the full IB Diploma. Students in the Seoul Foreign British School follow the English National Curriculum and all students have the opportunity to study towards the IGCSE examinations.

SFS is unique in being two schools in one. The Seoul Foreign British School, housed at the highest point of our campus, allows students to attend an international school with a very distinct British ethos.

SFS is fully accredited by both the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) and the Council of International Schools (CIS).

Seoul Foreign School is committed to meeting the academic, creative, physical, spiritual and social needs of each of its students. Its world-class facilities help provide outstanding opportunities to learn, perform and compete in a broad variety of curricular and extracurricular contexts. The campus houses ‘state of the art’ performance theatres, fine arts & music facilities and design studios. Athletic facilities include an all-weather soccer pitch, two large gymnasia, a swimming pool and multiple tennis courts. SFS sports teams and music & theatre students participate in local and international competitions and events through membership of the Asia Pacific Activities Conference (APAC), the Federation of British International schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and the Korean American International Activities Conference (KAIAC).

SFS is a truly global learning community with 1400 students representing over 50 nationalities. It is a unique and caring community, characterized by high personal expectations, deep commitment to service and high-quality teaching & learning.
