St Clare's, Oxford proudly present TEDx event

Posted on 19th Mar 2024 in School News, United Kingdom

Two final year IB Diploma students from St Clare's, Oxford hosted a TEDx event to give people an opportunity to listen to their peers and learn more about the world, based on the theme of Internationalism. TEDx itself is a programme of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

Event organisers, Sheeta and Anissa, were pleased to present eight live speakers, who were selected members of the school's student body and staff members, to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

Sheeta and Anissa, said: “It was an amazing opportunity to manage and orchestrate our first event of this scale, be able to learn about our classmates, and develop our own abilities and communication skills. We’re very grateful that we were given this opportunity and a big thank you to every member of staff who helped us bring our vision to reality!“
