From the modest start of around 250 pupils in Grades 1, 2 & 3 in its first campus in Manama Northern Governorate, near the historic Khamis Mosque built in 692 CE, APG now educates about 1440 learners in K-12, with one new campus dedicated to Kindergarten.
With keen foresight and wisdom, Mr Mohamed Moosa Al'Aali - a visionary founder and Chairman of the board of APG School who is deeply committed to providing quality opportunities for learners to be highly educated and ethical in their conduct and dealings in the global world, treating the whole of mankind with great respect and care - is charting a sustainable path forward for the school so dear to his heart.
Joined by his young, bold, ambitious, uncompromising heir Mr Hussain Al'Aali as Vice Chairman, APG School redefines its identity in response to the challenges of the time, deepening its local root, expanding its global reach. Mr Hussain is taking the 25-year-old APG to the new heights, beginning with the rebranding of the school as embodied in its new logo.
In APG, we seek to present a holistic education where each student finds his/her identity, passion, and life goals.
Led by its longstanding leader and Head of School, Ms Ebtisam Al-Zeera, APG is constantly aiming towards high morals and global competence in producing well-balanced and lifelong learners.
We in APG create a community of learners who are: creative, self-directed, and happy; adaptive and responsible citizens; resilient and compassionate towards self, others, and nature; emotionally and socially intelligent; and STEAM-competent and high achieving.
We express our values as PEARL to mean: Perseverance, Empathy, Ambition, Respect, and Leadership.
APG is a CIS-accredited school that offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in High School.
