Globally focused, distinctly Australian

The Australian International School's 'globally focused, distinctly Australian' approach provides students aged 2 months to 18 years with an international education that is underpinned by the Australian curriculum. As the only southern-hemisphere school in Singapore to offer both the IB and Australian curriculums, the Australian International School is widely regarded as a leading centre of educational excellence.

A place for every child

The Australian International school offers a holistic, well-rounded education, which cherishes the arts and sport as well as academics as being essential to each student's learning journey. The AIS curriculum and culture not only values academic achievement, but aims to develop students into adults who have a moral commitment to making the world a better place as reflective, caring knowledgeable and principled people.

Students at AIS enjoy a wealth of opportunities across academics, sport, the arts and co-curricular activities. There is a place for every child at AIS, and as such the school remains non-selective in its admissions policy, confident that it is not intellectual ability alone that determines an individual's worth or contribution to the world.

As an international school, diversity is at the heart of the AIS culture. With a community made up of more than 50 different nationalities, students are exposed to a truly global education and the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of other cultures.

An education that delivers results

Despite its non-selective admissions policy, AIS consistently achieves outstanding academic results across all areas of the curriculum. In 2017, the School achieved a 100% pass rate on the IBDP for a second year running, with an average score of 34.5 (15% higher than the global average.) One student achieved the top point score of 45 and has been accepted into Stanford University, USA to study Biochemistry. Another student achieved a top ten in the world result in the Australian HSC for Legal Studies and will be going on to study Marketing at Macquarie University, Sydney. The School continues to strive for academic excellence as part of a well-rounded and balanced education.

New Early Learning Village

AIS has continued to grow rapidly since it was founded in 1993, with the latest groundbreaking stage of development having launched in 2017. The Early Learning Village opened in July and provides learning capacity for 800 young learners aged 2 months to 6 years.

Featuring bright, spacious classrooms each with their own outdoor learning space, the Early Learning Village is the first of its kind in Singapore and every element has been specifically designed with young learners in mind. With sprawling outdoor play decks, 6 multi-purpose rooms for dance, drama, music and physical education, plus a specialist early learning swimming pool, this is a place where young children love to learn and have fun.
