Huijia Kindergarten (Huijia Kids) is the starting point of a complete 16-year IB education at Huijia Educational Organization. The first Huijia Kindergarten was established in May, 1999. So far, Huijia Kids has 45 kindergartens with around 12,000 students. We aim to provide our children with a diversified learning atmosphere, enable them to understand and respect different cultures, and lay a foundation for their lifelong development.
Beijing Haidian Huijia Wanquan Kindergarten, founded in 2003, was the first Huijia Kids campus to become an international kindergarten. It started to implement the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) in 2008. In August 2013, the kindergarten officially became an IB World School, authorized to deliver the PYP. Beijing Haidian Huijia Wanquan Kindergarten is located in a typical Chinese community in the Haidian District.
Beijing Huijia Kindergarten, founded in 2004, is the second Huijia Kids campus to become IB authorized. Beijing Huijia Kindergarten began implementing the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) in 2011 and became an officially authorized IB World School in December, 2014. The school is located in Chaoyang District of Beijing.
As of October 2015, ten more Huijia Kids campuses have applied to become IB candidate schools. Since implementing the PYP, our kindergartens have made a great paradigm shift from traditional Chinese pedagogy to inquiry-based learning.
We create indoor and outdoor environments well equipped with a variety of resources, carefully set up to engage children and promote their inquiry in a real setting. Each kindergarten works closely with parents and the local community to promote the philosophy of play-based learning.
All of our efforts are to make our children compassionate, confident and collaborative lifelong learners with physical and mental well-being and international mindedness.
