At D Y Patil International School and College – Pune we aim to provide a safe, nurturing environment for learning where individuality is recognized, diversity is celebrated and being a life-long learner is supremely advocated.
We are committed to a cause that encourages enthusiasm, global mindedness, independence and responsibility where academic and personal potential can be achieved.
Our children are provided with emotional care in a nurturing and soothing environment.
We bring about concentration, coordination, self–esteem, social awareness, orderliness and intellectual development.
We encourage every student to engage in a rich and diverse student life. From PYP to IBDP our school supports, community service and an arts programme that aim to stimulate as well as inspire student participation.
The foundation of our curricular and instructional practice is based upon our respect for the unique learning styles of students and an understanding of the needs of the 21st century learner. The school promotes high standards of responsibility and citizenship in a supportive and internationally-minded community. We implement a developmental and student-centred approach to instructions following an inquiry-based and interdisciplinary curriculum.
The school supports a comprehensive range of academic, extracurricular, sports, community service and an arts programme that aim to stimulate as well as inspire students’ participation.
Physical Education: The school aims to develop control, co-ordination and mastery of the body, learnt through action, sensation and observation.
Activities: In addition to academic achievement, we strive to provide experience that contributes to the physical, social and emotional development of all our students.
Community Outreach: Students participate in many local and international activities including Model United Nations and ongoing projects. The children are encouraged to be spontaneously creative, using a variety of media and techniques in art and craft work.
Music and Dance: The teaching of music is based upon the fact that it is a creative and social art to be enjoyed. Children have the opportunity to enjoy musical experiences through listening, singing, movement and dance.
We offer KINDERGARTEN, IBPYP, CS-1 [GRADE-8 CHECK-POINT], CS-2 [IGCSE] and IBDP programmes.
