With almost 15 years of experience in offering the IB Curriculum starting from the Primary Years Programme (PYP), through Middle Years Programme (MYP) and concluding with the Diploma Programme (DP), GESS has long established itself as a top IB world school in Singapore. The school produces exemplary IB scores that are always above the world average and the students get the chance to study in esteemed universities around the world.

More than that, GESS aligns itself closely with the IB mission and invests its efforts in developing students who become better citizens through education. From encouraging students to serve the local Singaporean community through programmes such as the Junior Neighbourhood Ambassadors programme and enabling students to learn beyond the classroom through research expedition trips to places like South Africa, the school builds a necessary connection between knowledge and the world.

The school, which has students of over 65 nationalities, also encourages its diverse students to maintain a strong cultural identity through varied initiatives such as the German, Dutch and Danish Mother Tongue Language Programmes running from Primary School to High School and the Language Enrichment Programme that provides immersive avenues for students to practice their home languages and learn more about their own cultures. Celebrations such as International Language Day, International Summer Party, Chinese New Year and more create opportunities for students to reflect on, understand and express their cultural identities.

While primarily non-selective, the school also creates multiple avenues for students with stronger academic inclinations to grow: GESS is the first ever school outside Europe to have the prestigious Junior Engineer Academy that allows students to learn real life application of engineering together with industry partners like BOSCH, Pepperl & Fuchs and XentiQ.

At GESS, every child is encouraged to push boundaries, work towards their aspirations, big and small, and become strong characters with a dedication to serving their communities.
