Glenlyon Norfolk School is a Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 co-educational, nondenominational university preparatory day-school located in Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, Canada. As one of only 5% of IB schools in Canada authorized to offer the full continuum of IB programmes, GNS is proud of its unique 'IB Advantage': a 21st-Century approach which educates the whole child and creates global thinkers.

Truth. Courage. Caring. Individuality. Community. These five words form the core of the Glenlyon Norfolk School experience. GNS challenges young minds with a first-class academic experience complemented by extensive exposure to artistic, athletic and service opportunities. Every GNS student is an IB student, even if they choose not to complete the Diploma Programme, and each graduate departs the school equipped with the skills required to find great success in their post-secondary studies, their careers and their lives. The GNS difference is our people. The relationships forged between students and teachers who know them and care about them as individuals set us apart and make our great school truly exceptional.

Life outside the classroom is an integral part of the GNS experience. We strongly endorse student activities as being the other half of a well-rounded education. Academics and student activities together form the core of our program, hence the phrase co-curricular activities. Our school offers a strong program of age-specific co-curricular activities that give all our students the chance to delve into the arts, take part in an athletic endeavour, or explore a new or developing passion such as coding or the environment.

GNS is comprised of 3 schools, 2 locations and 1 shared philosophy. A magical waterfront setting in Oak Bay is home to our Junior School. Young students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 5 learn at a school where the beach is their playground and sometimes even their classroom. Nestled in the six acres of the Pemberton Woods Campus are the Glenlyon Norfolk Middle (Grades 6–8) and Senior (Grades 9-12) Schools. Buildings are connected by pathways that lead through small gardens, giving the campus a peaceful, university-like feeling. Facilities on-site range from a 340-seat performing arts hall to art, music and band rooms; turf field; gymnasium; fitness centre; libraries; classrooms; and labs for science. Though separate, the Middle and Senior Schools share some facilities and programs, combining the advantages of age-appropriate approaches with an overall sense of community.

GNS is proud to be an accredited member of the Independent Schools Association of British Columbia (ISABC), Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS), the Round Square, and is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization as an IB Continuum School.
