Gresham's School is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, only four miles from the stunning north Norfolk coastline in the East of England. We focus on educating the whole child by providing a broad yet rigorous curriculum, combined with an extensive range of sporting, social and cultural opportunities. In 2017, Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, opened a new state-of-the-art Music School and in 2018, Gresham's opened its own outdoor activity centre with a 28-metre climbing tower and 250-metre zip wire in its school woods.

The school is within easy access of the city of Norwich with its national and international transport links.

Gresham's has a tradition of producing outstanding achievers in a wide variety of fields. Old Greshamians have been inspiring others for generations from composer Sir Benjamin Britten, poet W.H. Auden, Chairman and Founder of the Dyson Company, Sir James Dyson, international rugby players Tom and Ben Youngs and BAFTA and Golden Globe award-winning actor Olivia Colman.

In 2016, Gresham's was awarded an 'Excellent' rating in all nine categories following an Independent Schools Inspectorate visit which is testament to its progressive academic curriculum, high quality teaching and excellent pastoral care.

There are 493 students at the Senior School. In Year 11 (16 years), students sit IGCSE and GCSE exams and in Year 12 students have the option to choose between the IB Diploma Programme or A levels.

Seven boarding houses provide a welcoming, home-from-home environment where all year groups support each other. Pupils joining the school immediately become part of a unique community where they will become immersed in a fulfilling and hugely varied school life supported by our dedicated and caring team of house staff.

We are proud of our pupils who leave us as enthusiastic, happy, confident and capable young adults ready to make a real difference in the communities in which they live.

The school has two Open Mornings, one in the autumn and one in the summer term, alternatively you can book an individual visit by contacting our Admissions Team.
