Should you begin your international journey in the Pre-Diploma or the Diploma Programme?

The Diploma Programme is the final 2 years of upper secondary education authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organisation. You are eligible to apply for the Diploma Programme if you have completed the equivalent of 10 years of compulsory school. The 2 years in the Diploma Programme, if completed successfully, will give you the basic requirements to apply to Universities in Sweden and around the world. The IBDP is literally an open door to your adventure on this globe!

Apply to the Pre-Diploma Programme if you have completed 9 years of compulsory schooling. In the Pre-Diploma Programme you will study the typical first year National Swedish upper secondary courses like English, Math, Biology, and Civics, for example. You will also get some orientation courses that allow you to narrow down your selection of subjects to take once you enter the Diploma Programme.
