Hills Grammar was founded in 1982 as a co-educational and non-denominational Kindergarten to Year 12 School with an emphasis in the development of excellence in scholarship, citizenship and personal development. Its ethos is underpinned by a strong commitment to humanitarian values based on personal integrity and social responsibility.
Our Vision: Extraordinary Education, Extraordinary Individuals.
Since its foundation, the physical development of the School has been significant, with a major building project completed every 18 months. In 2011 the School opened the Early Childhood Education Centre, catering for 3 and 4 year olds. The physical development of the School has paralleled the advancements in the areas of Academic Curriculum, Student Wellbeing, Co-curricular and Staff Development programs.
Hills Grammar is a vibrant learning community and offers its students a high quality, comprehensive education that is constantly developed through a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Set on 18ha amongst natural bush and landscaped gardens, the classrooms, specialist facilities, oval, theatre, performance centre, car parks, bus bays and support services are fully contained on one safe campus. Being a 'bush school' in a growing, dynamic area of Sydney, we have the best of both worlds; the semi-rural familiarity of a close community mixed with the sophistication of cosmopolitan Sydney.
The curriculum is academically rigorous and aims to enable, enrich and extend all students. It provides extensive opportunities for broad and in-depth academic study across all Key Learning Areas.
The study of foreign languages and the creative arts, which we see as crucial to intellectual development, starts at Pre-Kindergarten. We are an International Baccalaureate World School offering the Primary Years Programme.
The NEAS accredited Hills International Education provides an intensive English program for High School Preparation. Situated within the campus grounds, HIE provides a natural pathway for International Students to study intensive English prior to mainstream enrolment whilst being integrated with their year group for other subjects and co-curricular activities.
Hills Grammar offers 34 HSC courses including all extensions. Success across the curriculum is highlighted by a history of high placings in the Higher School Certificate.
