Founded in 2010, Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS) is part of Taaleem, the UAE's second largest school provider.
The JBS campus sits on approximately eight acres of prime land in the heart of Dubai, with outstanding learning, sporting and performing arts facilities; including a grass football field, swimming pool, two large gymnasiums, multi-purpose auditorium, designated music/drama and visual arts rooms, library and shared play areas for younger students.
Vision and Mission
Our vision is to prepare all of our students for the innovation age by igniting their passions, purpose and curiosity through challenge and high expectations. Our students will be responsible, confident, and independent learners who are respectful; they embrace and celebrate diversity and have awareness of the environment. They strive to reach excellence whilst maintaining happiness and wellbeing.
Our mission is:
Extended Learning and Inclusion
At JBS, we aim to provide exceptional opportunities for each of our students in a supporting and challenging environment.
We welcome all students to JBS. This could include students with special educational or learning needs, students with English as an additional Language (EAL), and those who are Gifted or Talented. Our dedicated Inclusion team works on a graduated response to identify and remove barriers to learning.
With a 2018 global pass rate of 97% (DP and CP), we pride ourselves on high academic standards, however we are more than this. Truly excellent education is about developing a passion for life-long learning and a capability for independent thinking.
