Kehoe-France Northshore is an independent, non-denominational, coeducational school open to students from 8 weeks old through 7th grade, which includes early childhood, preschool, elementary and middle school.
At Kehoe-France, importance is placed on developing social skills and building character among our students. Our purpose is to develop the child intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and socially. It is in a child's formative years that a love for learning develops, and Kehoe-France offers the opportunity to embrace and enjoy that adventure. We are a family-oriented community committed to academic excellence. Through the close cooperation of parents, faculty and administration, we foster a nurturing environment, developing the individual potential and ability of each child. We encourage enthusiasm for learning, confidence in pursuing school tasks independently and respect for others while working cooperatively. These tools are what help prepare the Kehoe-France student for high school, college and life beyond.
Kehoe-France Northshore is an International Baccalaureate World School, authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP), and a candidate for the Middle Years Programme (MYP). KFN is also approved by the BESE and the Louisiana Department of Education/US Department of Education, NIPSA (National Independent Private School Association) and Cognia (formerly SACS, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools).
Now in our 26th year in St. Tammany Parish, Kehoe-France maintains a serene and wholesome environment that draws many families from the surrounding area in which to raise and educate their children. Uniquely, Kehoe-France Northshore is a privately owned school that was founded and continues to operate without the aid of fund-raising drives and only on the tuition and fees of the students.
