Legacy School is a welcoming K-12 progressive and co-educational school. We offer a balanced and meaningful education through the Cambridge International (Pathway School) and IB curricula.

Our modern environments have been designed by international architects to provide opportunities to learn in a hybrid environment with open classrooms. These hi-tech spaces have resulted in improved relationships across grade levels and amongst faculty; which has led to greater collaboration and meaningful engagement.

We Care!

Our commitment to impacting a positive change in the world around us, motivates us to nurture in our students the important attributes of being caring, reflective, balanced and open-minded thinkers. All students across the school are engaged in service learning initiatives and projects through our Global Perspectives curriculum that are mapped with the United Nations Global Sustainable Development Goals. In 2018, Vismaya Menon achieved the highest rank in India for her achievement in the Cambridge International AS Level course - ‘Global Perspectives and Research.’

As a conscientious community, we are currently working in collaboration with local, NGO and government organizations to reclaim and rehabilitate a neighbourhood lake to restore a balanced eco-system and create a new community space for both residents and citizens to enjoy. In addition, our students continue to create awareness around matters pertaining to menstrual hygiene, protection of children from sexual offenders, participate in city-cleanup campaigns and supporting disaster survivors by organizing relief supplies.

Tech-enabled!

Students are empowered to take ownership of their own learning journey. We have chosen the Apple eco-system to provide a robust and safe platform where technology is used effectively to design and deliver a collaborative learning experience. Over 40 independent learning pods and centres across the school enable our students and teachers to interact and engage in more creative, personalized and flexible ways that help develop critical skills that are essential for the modern world.

An integrated ‘Digital Citizenship’ program helps ensure that our young learners understand their responsibilities and rights as a digital citizen, and learn how to leverage the advantages of technology. Our faculty are currently designing and delivering lessons using iTunesU, incorporating student contributions into their lessons. Faculty are able to develop lessons that are relevant, interactive and highly engaging. We are able to provide targeted feedback and support to ensure that every child receives the appropriate level and kind of support to help enhance their learning and advance their achievement.

Pranav Nutalapati of Grade 11 represented India, and secured the third place for “Web Programming” in the recent World Skills Asia round of tech-based competitions hosted in Abu Dhabi in November 2018.

Learning for Life!

We strongly believe in the integration and development of the attributes included in the IB learner profile. Through a variety of avenues we provide our students across every grade with numerous opportunities to develop as well-rounded people with the relevant knowledge, skills, values and dispositions that they will need for life.

We have curated a ‘futures’ program in partnership with an organization to provide a unique four-year long university and career preparation program for our high school students. These sessions are designed to provide them with the awareness and exposure about themselves, their interests and abilities, which empowers them to make a more self-assured decision about their choices in the future.
