Malvern College Egypt (MCE) opened in September 2016 with a first cohort of over 300 pupils. In 2020-21, we are proud to have over 850 pupils enrolled from Pre-Nursery to Year 13. The College was granted IBO authorization, in the 2018-19 academic year, to implement the IB Diploma Programme. The College also offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), and A-Levels.

As a renowned British school, in Egypt, the College is a member of the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME). Malvern College Egypt is a part of the family of Malvern College International (MCI) schools across the globe, including our mother school Malvern College UK, Malvern College Chengdu, Malvern College Hong Kong, and Malvern College Qingdao. We work closely with Malvern College UK, who regularly provide quality assurance visits to strengthen rapport and share educational best practice.

As MCE is a young school, we are fortunate to have over 150 years of experience in education from Malvern College UK. At the College, English is the primary language of instruction and our language of inclusion. We follow an enhanced form of the National Curriculum for England. The College academic staff all hold UK academic teaching qualifications and registration with the vast majority holding British citizenship. The College has outstanding local teachers of Arabic, social studies, and religion, maintaining the importance of the Egyptian culture. The College has outstanding facilities where a wide variety of co-curricular activities are provided. The College provides an inquiry-based, pupil-centered education, focusing on pupil character development as well as academic achievement.
