Nexus International School (Singapore) is an international school with children from over 50 different nationalities, catering from ages 3 to 18. International Baccalaureate (PYP, MYP* and Diploma) and the UK IGCSE curricula are offered, ensuring the easiest transition from home country to Singapore and to the next adventure.

At Nexus, every child is taught based on their personal motivations, understanding and talents. We empower children to learn by encouraging them to be independent and teaching them to be critical thinkers. Outcomes in our core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science measure well above the international average and our ongoing assessments allow us to track every child’s performance. Our child-centred philosophy is echoed by every teacher, in every class and in every extra-curricular activity.

We strive to ensure that your child has a world-class education; internationally recognised and accredited by the most respected awarding bodies. We believe in providing a strong community where parents, teachers and children collaborate in learning-focused relationships, built upon an open-door policy that encourages regular communication between parents and teachers.

The focus at Nexus is on developing the whole learner. Nexus was purposefully designed and built with innovative learning environments at the centre of the decision-making process to support and enhance the learning process. By giving learners the opportunity to choose their own learning style and surroundings, it allows them to develop self-efficacy. As an Apple Distinguished School, we pride ourselves on innovative approaches to tap into children's natural motivation to learn.

We also believe that learning entrepreneurship skills benefits learners from all backgrounds, inspiring out-of-the-box thinking and innovation. If learners bring ideas forward, we try to support them to make things happen.

Our results back this up. In 2021, the average IB grade was 37 points, up from 34 in 2020 and 32 in 2019 and 44% of diplomas were bilingual. At IGCSE in 2021, 38% of all entries were A/A* grade and 93% pass rate for A* to C, an increase from 33% and 85% respectively in 2020.

*Nexus International School (Singapore) is a candidate school for the IB MYP. This programme will continue for each subsequent academic year, MYP Year 8 in 2022/23 and MYP Year 9 in 2023/2024. Until then, learners will continue the English National Curriculum.
