Plantation Middle School is an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme magnet nestled in the heart of Plantation, located in the School district of Broward County, Florida. An accelerated honors program, their faculty and 688 students in sixth through eighth grade represent diverse nationalities. An internationally standardized course of study for highly motivated and academically talented students with higher-level thinking skills, integrated curriculum, thematic units, and intercultural awareness combine to provide a well-rounded education. This unique magnet challenges students to become self-directed learners and responsible world citizens. Their teachers develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
