Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling College (NPLC) is dedicated to providing students with all round education and a happy, harmonious and positive learning environment conducive to moral, academic, physical, social, personal and artistic development for pursuing excellence and meeting global challenges in the ever-changing world in the 21st century.

Established in 2003, NPLC is a direct subsidy English medium school under Po Leung Kuk, a charitable organisation. With the best value-added results in the local public exams in our territory, we ventured into offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in 2014. Senior secondary students can choose either the local curriculum or the IBDP after three years of junior secondary education. Students who opt to do the IBDP need to do the IB Bridging Year programme which prepares them well to meet the challenges of the Diploma years. This year is a milestone in the history of NPLC as all our first batch IBDP students achieved scores above 30 with an average of 35.6.

Our diversified extra-curricular activities and CAS programmes enable students to develop their multi talents. Our swimming team, table tennis team, athletics team and volleyball team are champions in various inter-school competitions every year. Our handbell team has been the Champion in Hong Kong for eight consecutive years since 2010. Our well-developed community service spiral curriculum and 'Project Hope' (a trip to help the poor students of our sister schools, in mountainous regions in China) help students to understand their role as global citizens.

Providing opportunities for students to explore the world in various fields of study is one of the characteristics of NPLC. In 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 school year, our Physics Underwater Robot Team qualified for the International Final Contest in the USA. Our Chemistry Research Team presented their research findings at the University of Birmingham, UK in Nov 2014, in Shandong in July 2015, Hawaii in Dec 2015, New Zealand in Aug 2016 and Los Angeles in 2017. Our World Scholar’s Cup representatives entered the Tournament of Champions at Yale University in November 2014, 2016 and 2017. Our exchange programmes with our sister schools in Singapore, New Zealand and Shanghai widen students' horizon and give them a taste of world cultures.
