The Science, Mathematics and Technology Campus (QASMT) allows high achieving students to develop skills through leading edge curriculum and links with the University of Queensland (UQ). QASMT offers an enriched program to enhance development of students with an interest and ability in the related fields of Science, Mathematics and Technology.

QASMT's vision for learning recognises that this is an age of unparalleled change. Teachers and students enjoy flexible learning spaces that support innovative teaching practice and embed elements of personalised learning.

Spaces are designed to be mindful of the type of learning that takes place. For example, the science laboratories are designed to emulate university standards, whilst the English spaces are designed to allow for visible learning and natural collaboration.

QASMT develops students' abilities to research, investigate and reflect on local and global matters. The relationship of the students and teachers is based on intellectual challenge and interdependent inquiry.

Students who graduate from QASMT are well placed to enjoy careers in new science fields such as Biotechnology and Nanotechnology, as well as established fields like Health Sciences, Engineering, Chemical Sciences, Robotics and Neuroscience.

Students achieve outstanding academic results with a proven record in attaining offers to some of the most prestigious universities throughout the world. As a result of the special credit arrangements between UQ and QASMT, many students place UQ as their preferred university of choice.

In 2016, 33% of our graduating cohort received a rank of 99 (OP1 equivalent) - the highest rank attainable, with 21% of students achieving an IB score of 40+ and four students receiving the top IB score of 45. The 2016 Better Schools Guide has ranked QASMT at the top performing school in Queensland. More details can be found at http://bettereducation.com.au/results/QCE_OP.aspx?yr=2016

Our facilities are of the highest standard. Students enjoy the benefits of working in a wireless environment with computer network access from all work and recreation areas; virtual classrooms; an observatory; extensive recreational and sporting facilities, including gymnasium, full size volleyball courts, tennis courts and sports ovals; a modern Student Precinct providing quiet individual study spaces and learning areas with up to date e-resources; a modern university style lecture theatre and large auditorium; well- equipped music and art rooms.

QASMT is located at 78 Bywong Street, Toowong, in Brisbane's leafy western suburbs; a convenient 10 minute drive from Brisbane CBD with good access to both train and bus public transport.
