Seoul Foreign School Inspiring Excellence, Building Character - since 1912

Seoul Foreign School is the longest established international school in Korea and one of the first 10 international schools in the world. Founded in 1912, it offers a community of teaching and learning excellence, coming together to educate children at all ages and stages. Seoul Foreign School inspires a passion for learning, pursues academic and creative excellence and is dedicated to the service of others.

An unrivalled legacy is combined with state-of-the-art facilities on our 25 acre campus in central Seoul. With a current population of over 1600 students from more than 55 countries and with many diverse backgrounds, our students are able to learn and grow as truly global citizens.

Four sections, Elementary School, Middle School, High School and the British School, are situated together on a world class campus benefitting from individual space but aligned with one purpose and ethos. Academic, physical and spiritual needs are served across the facilities. Students have the opportunity to participate in various activities – within the school day and in extracurricular time – including many competitive sports, arts, sciences and holistic interests.

Seoul Foreign School is an IB continuum school – a Pre-K to Grade 12 IB World School and additionally Foundation to Year 9 British School. The IB Primary Years Programme and IB Middle Years Programme are offered along with the English National Curriculum and both lead into the IB Diploma Programme. Based on its history of 40 years of IB Diploma Programme, SFS High School provides students an outstanding flexibility allowing 160 combinations of subjects, including unique course offerings in Seoul such as Design & Technology.

Teachers are rigorously selected and their passion, inspiration and academic excellence ensure that students go on to attend prestigious universities and colleges and succeed in all walks of life. Seoul Foreign School is a Christian school for all. Students enjoy an education surrounded by rich heritage in preparation for a future as global contributors.
