St. Andrews International School Sukhumvit 107 (S107) is an international school for 2-18 year olds, focused on meeting your child's individual needs and offering a broad and balanced curriculum blending the best of the British curriculum, the International Baccalaureate and IGCSEs. The school is a spacious, well-resourced and attractive campus located just steps away from Bearing BTS Station. We believe in personalised learning in a caring environment where our young people are free to have fun and be themselves, building leadership skills, resilience and grit.
The IB Diploma Programme
The IB programme at S107 has developed over 5 years to the extent that our boutique style and size means that we can offer nearly every IB subject depending on student aptitudes and tastes. In the last few years we have introduced Theatre, Film and Spanish in response to student demand and next year we are offering Philosophy, Global Politics, Environmental systems and societies as a result of student requests. Our flexibility is based on a belief that if students study what they love they will make maximum progress and enjoy their learning to the fullest.
Our small class sizes and personalised learning programmes help us to closely support all our students and the last 4 years have seen results improve year on year with 2018 seeing the highest IB score at the school (42). This is a significant achievement for an inclusive school and we support all our students to achieve beyond their expectations academically and in their wider learning.
The S107 experience also supports students to engage with their own community and the community outside of school. As well as running student and school community clubs and events, our students use the CAS programme to work with a huge range of community organisations in educational, social and environmental settings. Our students have built water tanks in remote areas of northern Thailand, supported medical charities such as Operation Smile and worked closely with refugee organisations. We are proud to be a Cognita school and as such we are part of a wider global community of 71 schools who believe in 'an inspiring world of education' and we can liaise with colleagues across the world to support student liaison and interaction internationally.
St. Andrews S107 IB experience is rich, varied, flexible and fun. Our ethos is to relentlessly support students in the belief that everyone succeeds at S107!
