Ecole Ruban Vert is a relatively newly-formed (2013) co-educational school of currently just over 200 students (aged 3-18 years), focusing on a broader educational agenda for the future of Africa. We are non-political, non-discriminatory and non-denominational, embracing the best of all cultures equally.

Students follow IBDP, IGCSE and PYP programs - with Montessori option from Nursery. The school operates as a bi-lingual school in French and English, but also offers Spanish in the curriculum. It has 'state of the art' facilities, including 225-seater auditorium, specialist music rooms, art studios, science labs, gymnasium with dance studio to complement the purpose-built classrooms and outdoor facilities which promote interactive learning at all levels. Trips and excursions enhance classroom work, ensuring students are well-prepared for modern life. Sciences, Arts and Humanities all combine with CAS (creativity, action and service) to make a rich curriculum.

Scholarships underline our focus on the provision of excellence in personal skills, while highlighting commitment to our community values. ERV is well-positioned to serve Gabon - and beyond.

Partnerships and innovative ventures allow ERV to be a people-oriented organisation, concerned with education and learning and we seek to develop the careers of individuals through education and scholarship programs and improve students' opportunities.

We want to be excellent in everything we do, so that our students and staff can reap the benefits of being part of a highly successful organisation.

We are focused on innovation and sustainability. We believe that Africa, and our education systems need to develop a louder voice when it comes to education. We prioritise the development of future skills and learning routes that will secure the best futures and opportunities for our young people by giving them the skills required to help businesses grow and the economy to strengthen.

Our campus is centrally located in the capital city. We benefit from the skills of talented staff from all over the world, whilst remaining firmly rooted in the life and economy of West Africa. We work with a range of partners across the region and our curriculum is sharply focused on the key economic sectors to shape the skills of our students.

One of our aims is to develop innovative ways of responding to local issues and play our part in impacting the prosperity, productivity and competitiveness of the continent.

While focusing on the quality of teaching and learning, we are open to change and challenge, to explore and incorporate best practices from within and outside our world and promote excellence, integrity, energy and intelligence.
