Vincentian Academy, a Catholic high school in the spirit of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, inspires students to achieve academic success, nurture their faith, discover and develop their talents, and live the Christian values of respect and service.

An IB education at Vincentian Academy is unique because of its academic and personal rigor. We aim to develop well-rounded students, who respond to challenges with optimism and an open mind, are confident in their own identities, make ethical decisions, and are prepared to apply what they learn in real-world, complex and unpredictable situations.

As the only Catholic International Baccalaureate World High School in Southwestern Pennsylvania, we are proud that our program is highly regarded by colleges and universities throughout the world. We currently offer 21 IB courses in a variety of subjects, including, but not limited to:

  • English Literature
  • History
  • Computer Science
  • Math Studies
  • Spanish
  • French
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Economics
  • Psychology
  • Visual Arts
  • Film
  • Music

Although we are academically focused, the Academy encourages each student to also develop and pursue interests in arts, athletics, and other activities to ensure a balanced and fulfilling high school experience. We currently offer 16 varsity sports with a no-cut policy as well as more than 30 clubs and after school activities to engage our students' minds in different ways and foster teamwork and comradery amongst their classmates.

An IB education at Vincentian Academy provides an exceptional foundation and future for any young person. We are valued for preparing students to become leaders who use their gifts and talents to strengthen communities and bring hope and justice to people everywhere.
