John Cabot University is an accredited American liberal arts university located in Rome, Italy.
What distinguishes JCU? A small student body of 1400 students from 75 countries and over 38 US States, classes of 15 students on average, over 1000 internship opportunities each year for students to build their international resumes, service learning as an integral part of the curriculum, study abroad opportunities, and more.
JCU also offers credits for IB certificates and diplomas. IB examinations taken at the higher level are worth 6 semester hours of credit and those taken at the standard level are worth 3 semester hours of credit.
John Cabot offers the following majors: Business Administration, Economics and Finance, International Business, Marketing, Communications, International Affairs, Political Science, Psychological Science, Art History, Classical Studies, English Literature, History, Humanistic Studies, and Italian Studies.
Minors are offered in all the major fields above except for International Business. There are also minors in Art and Design, Creative Writing, Entrepreneurship, Legal Studies, Mathematics, and Philosophy
JCU currently has 22 student Clubs and Organizations: The African Cultural Club, Art History Society, Asian Culture Club, Business Club, Debate Club, Fashion Club, Grassroots Environmental Club, International Relations Society, Investment Club, Model United Nations, Newspaper Club, Organization of Latin American Cultures, Queer Alliance, STAND, Student Government, Studio Art and Design Club, Universities Fighting World Hunger, and Women’s Leadership Initiative.
John Cabot University offers generous merit and need-based financial aid and has awarded over $4 million in scholarships and grants per year. 85% of JCU students receive a JCU scholarship and/or grant and 88% of /them graduated debt-free in 2019.
John Cabot University students pursue graduate studies at prestigious institutions including Columbia, NYU, Harvard, and the London School of Economics.
JCU accepts applications twice a year, in September and in January.
