Leading to a bright future

At Australian International School (AIS), every action we take is designed to lead our students towards a bright future. Since our establishment in 2006, we have continued to achieve this aim by delivering high-quality international education. We are dedicated to creating an environment where we stimulate inquiry, creativity and innovation, to help our students embrace all opportunities that life brings them and to become global citizens.

Providing the IB curriculum

Understanding the significance of all that the IB curriculum offers, AIS has long identified its ability to foster both academic and personal success while challenging students to excel in their studies and their individual development. AIS was one of the first schools in Vietnam to become an authorised IB World School, and as such, we are now among the most experienced educators in the country to provide this curriculum.

Currently, AIS offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for both our Kindergarten and Primary School students and the IB Diploma Programme as part of its Senior School education. The University of Cambridge Secondary Programme with the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is provided for our Lower Secondary School students.

For the IB Diploma, AIS has an extensive background in supporting and preparing students to study this acclaimed curriculum and develop real-world skills that extend beyond the classroom. Consequently, AIS graduates consistently obtain results above the world average, and students have gone on to gain places at leading universities around the globe, many with full or partial scholarships.

Exceptional education with modern facilities

Under the leadership and experience of AIS's Executive Principal, Mr Jon Standen, our team of enthusiastic, internationally-trained and qualified teachers are dedicated to challenging, inspiring, and supporting the individual needs of every student.

We support each child to reach their full academic potential, to nurture a love of arts, to become involved in and passionate about sport and to develop the resilience to overcome challenges. Our Australian values of fairness and a 'have a go' attitude, combined with a world-class curriculum, drive this ambition.

To aid our teaching staff, every classroom and learning environment is spacious, well-resourced, and technologically rich. Additionally, our students have access to an open garden style campus, swimming pools, a double gymnasium, an auditorium, soccer fields, a dedicated IB Centre, and much, much more.
