Cambridge College Lima ('Cambridge') is a private institution founded in 1985, whose purpose is to provide a co-educational, bilingual, modern, and holistic education. Cambridge is a member of Inspired, a leading global group of premium schools, with over 80 schools across five continents. A definitive statement of excellence in private education; Inspired is an independent school group designed to inspire students, to achieve their maximum potential in a nurturing, progressive academic environment.
At Cambridge, we seek to meet our students' social, emotional, and physical needs with a high-quality, holistic, and personalized education. Our student community is enriched by a diversity of families, which significantly influences our students' formation with a distinctive Cambridge feeling of community founded in a strong national identity with a global mindset.
Our Academic Programme combines the Peruvian Ministry of Education requirements with our students graduating with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The curriculum is balanced with various art courses, including Performing & Visual Arts, Drawing, and Music with students able to specialize in the latter during Middle School.
Cambridge offers a wide range of afterschool activities. These include sports such as basketball, football, volleyball, chess; activities such as MUN and debate; and also The Arts. MUN is a very popular after-school activities and public speaking is a taught curricular subject. From Grades 6 to 11 debating and public speaking promote a high level of critical and creative thinking, negotiation, and teamwork. It aims to encourage our students' involvement in those activities that support power (soft) skills development, allowing them to develop into the profile of students achieving their own potential. Students develop awareness and social responsibility through their participation in our school committees such as Cambridge Green and Cambridge Action. Learning by experience, they become aware of the importance of social work to create constant and sustainable development. Students go to different communities to work with and for them during school hours and work on actions that are student-led and supported by the CAS Coordinator.
Cambridge has a personalized Counselling Programme using Unifrog and also Arete for students from grades 9 to the senior year. Students are encouraged and guided to reflect upon their skills, interests, and preferences to identify what national and international universities offer regarding the careers that match their profile.
