Casvi Schools Group was created in 1985, when Mr. Juan Yagiie Sevillano - who had spent 20 years working in education - founded the first Eurocolegio Casvi in Villaviciosa de Odón. From its beginnings with just one classroom per grade, it is grown into a large international private school with almost 1,300 students and 120 teachers.

Established in 2017, Casvi International American School is a private, international, American and co-ed school, located in the north of Madrid, and based on the American school system whose mission is to educate and create citizens of the world.

At Casvi International American School we are constantly adapting ourselves to society's new needs and requirements, and we educate our students for a successful personal and professional future. That is why we have a deep and ongoing commitment to innovation, both in terms of leveraging new technologies to help to learn and to introduce new teaching methods.

A fundamental pillar of our school is the implementation of the three International Baccalaureate (IB) study programmes at all teaching levels: the PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme), and DP (Diploma Programme). Casvi International American School is an authorized school for the three IB programmes mentioned above.

The International Baccalaureate methodology uses a skills-based, constructivist methodological framework designed to educate students to be inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective.

In addition, international-mindedness, language acquisition and encouraging students' talents have been the foundation of this education system for more than three decades.

Young people from all over the world live and learn at Casvi International American Boarding School, where they develop deep friendships that last forever. Our main mission is to make our students grow personally and intellectually to achieve a real advantage in university, in the world of work, or in any real-life situation through the detection and development of talent, with an entrepreneurial spirit and an ethical commitment to our society.

Cultural exchange, recognition of diversity, acceptance and mutual respect make up our philosophy. Life at Casvi International American Boarding School is a life-changing experience. In our 25.000 sq. m. facilities, students not only find out about their interests, but also develop their talents.

Life in the residence offers a wide variety of fun and interesting activities. Being a resident student at Casvi International American Boarding School is fun and educational... it's like having a big family!
