For more than four decades, Liceo Europeo has developed an international, innovative and non-denominational educational model inspired by the principles of the Institución Libre de Enseñanza and firmly rooted in UNESCO values, the European Union's key educational competences and the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate. Our educational project is guided by a fundamental principle: learning to know, to do, to be and to live together.

We are a genuinely multilingual school, with English and Spanish as vehicular languages from the earliest years, Chinese introduced from the age of one, and French and German incorporated from Primary Education. As an Official Examination Centre for Cambridge, the Institut Français, the Goethe-Institut, and the Confucius Institute, we offer a rigorous and well-established multilingual pathway. This linguistic and cultural openness is reflected in a diverse student body from a wide range of backgrounds, naturally integrated into the international and caring environment that has characterised the school since its foundation. Today, our community comprises more than 1,200 students.

Our pedagogical approach integrates the latest advances in learning psychology – such as multiple intelligences, cooperative learning, and emotional and social intelligence – together with technology understood as a shared culture of learning. Through collaborative projects, we promote cultural, scientific, sporting, artistic and musical development, fostering creativity and innovation.

Personalised learning underpins each student's growth through active methodologies based on inquiry, research and direct engagement with the real world. We maintain a firm commitment to wellbeing and positive coexistence, with zero tolerance for bullying and an ethical approach to tools such as Artificial Intelligence, always placed at the service of critical thinking.

This holistic vision enables our students to access leading national and international universities, supported by strong results in the International Baccalaureate, the National Baccalaureate, the American High School Diploma and official language certifications – reinforcing the prestige and distinctive identity of Liceo Europeo.
