Founded in 1954, École Jeannine Manuel is a non-profit, coeducational French international and bilingual school whose mission is to promote international understanding through the bilingual education of a multicultural community. An IB World School since 1980, École Jeannine Manuel offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Grades 11 and 12 alongside the French International Baccalaureate (BFI). Admission is competitive and applications typically exceed available spaces by a ratio of 7:1. The school nonetheless makes every effort to reserve space for international applicants, including children of families who expect to remain in France for a limited period of time and wish to combine a cultural immersion in French education with the ability to seamlessly re-enter the school system in their home country.
