Located on a tranquil tree lined historic country estate, we provide a top quality, rich cultural learning environment, with focus on health and wellbeing.
The learning experience at Eerde IBS is consciously small-scale to ensure individual attention for all students. Our approach will allow our students to discover their true potential and will empower them to develop personal leadership and life skills. We do so by inspiring academic excellence, stimulating inquiring minds and developing our students as active members in their community.
Our truly international and highly qualified staff at Eerde IBS helps each student to recognise their own style of learning and apply learning strategies to improve their study skills. Next to our International Baccalaureate, we also offer Foundation IB. This program is particularly well suited for students who wish to improve their English language before entering the IBDP.
We are also excited to announce we are in the process of gaining approval for the IBCP to be added to our curriculum in 2022-2023. It is a Career related program, part of the International Baccalaureate education and is specifically developed for students who wish to engage in career-related learning and can help them along the path to their chosen career.
When school is out on weekday afternoons, students can participate in a range of sporting, cultural and social activities and discover their unique talents and interests.
Eerde's partnership with the Rijksmuseum offers students an Enriching Educational Experience, benefiting from the ongoing partnership through workshops, internships, exclusive exhibits and exchanges. This experience is especially beneficial for the International Baccalaureate Visual Arts students.
Eerde IBS offers full and flexible boarding facilities. Homemade healthy meals are provided in the bistro, and homework and private study can be done in the castle library and study centre, supervised by subject teachers and our support team. Boarders share a double room and are looked after by our boarding parents, who are dedicated to creating a happy and safe home. They can join a variety of activities offered during the weekends. All members of our boarding community treat each other with respect, honesty and tolerance.
Our alumni go to universities all around the world, but also in The Netherlands because of the high-quality programmes and opportunities for international students they provide.
