Ermitage International School is a day and boarding school near Paris offering international education for ages 5–18.

Our programmes include the International Primary Programme (ages 5–11) and the International Baccalaureate Programmes (ages 11–18) delivered in English, with French lessons from beginner to native level.

Set in historic Maisons-Laffitte, 20km from Paris, our campus welcomes students from over 80 nationalities. We emphasize student-centered learning, bilingualism, and leadership, with flexible boarding options available.

International Primary Programme (IPP, ages 5–11)

The IPP builds the foundations of inquiry-based learning through an engaging, bilingual approach that nurtures curiosity, collaboration and confidence. Students develop essential skills and attitudes that prepare them smoothly for the MYP.

IB Middle Years Programme (MYP, ages 11–16)

The MYP encourages students to be active, reflective learners with strong communication and cultural understanding. At Ermitage, experienced teachers mentor students as they develop independence and prepare for the academic demands of the Diploma Programme.

IB Diploma Programme (DP ages 16–19)

In the DP, students engage in a rigorous, inquiry-driven curriculum that promotes critical thinking and autonomy. By graduation, their research, writing and project-management skills ensure strong preparation for university.

Round Square and Co-curricular life
