Escola Eleva is a Brazilian bilingual school that has six campuses in Brazil. Three of those are in Rio de Janeiro: one in Barra da Tijuca, a second one in Botafogo and a third one in Urca. It also has campuses in Recife, in the Northeast of Brazil, in Brasília, our capital city, and is opening the sixth school unit in São Paulo, Brazil's major city both for business and finance, in 2024. Across all sites, Escola Eleva students attend a nurturing school committed to academic excellence and are proud to celebrate the diversity of Brazilian culture. Our mission is to form a new generation of leaders capable of making a difference in their lives and contributing to a better world.
Located in Av José Silva de Azevedo Neto, in front of the Peninsula Condominium, with an area of 16,000m2, Escola Eleva Barra da Tijuca was intentionally built to stimulate creativity and the pleasure of learning, following the world's trends in education. The sports areas are made up of 3 sports courts, an AstroTurf soccer field, an athletics track, and a 640m2 covered gymnasium. Among the internal learning spaces, you can find a Maker Space with a Media Lab, a Dance Studio, a matted Martial Arts Studio, 2 libraries, Visual Arts Studios, Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs, and an auditorium. In addition, the site has an exclusive space for Early Childhood Education, with more than 800m2 of parks, terraced classrooms, a Reggio-Inspired Atelier, and a music class.
We educate students aged 2 to 19 offering a bilingual academic environment that enables our learners to exceed their goals and to become successful, well-rounded individuals, while positively contributing to a better world.

Today the IB curriculum is available on the Urca and Barra campuses, as these are the school sites that currently offer High School education.
