Green Land - Pré Vert International Schools (GPIS-Egypt) is a member of Green Land Educational Foundation (GEF-Egypt). Since 2005, GPIS has been the only IB world school in Egypt authorized to offer all three IB programmes (IBPYP - IBMYP - IBDP) in two languages beside Arabic (French and English languages).
GPIS is the only school in Egypt that holds four quality assurance certificates ISO 9002:1994 since 1997 until the latest update BS EN ISO 9001:2015 from the British Standard Institution BSI - UK.
GPIS has been granted several awards from the International Gold Star for Quality from BID in Spain in 2002, followed by the Robert Blackburn Award by the IBO in 2007 for best Community and Services project in IBAEM. GPIS also was shortlisted out of 200 applications for the International School Awards 2019 (International Impact Award).
GPIS students' results in their bilingual IB Diploma are higher than the world average in all subjects. Starting from GPIS first promotion in session 2007, 14% of students' results were among the top 5% IB diploma students' results worldwide, which put them in the top 200 students; ending with session 2019, GPIS students' pass rate of full IB bilingual diploma was 100% with an average 8% higher than world average, where 92% of the students scored 6-7/7 in Group 2 subjects and more than 70% of the students scored A & B in their Extended Essay.
GEF-Egypt initiated a pilot project with the Egyptian Ministry of Education and the IBO in 2014 to apply the three IB programmes in Arabic in two governmental schools (Egyptian International Schools - EIS). One of the schools was established in 2014, authorized for two programmes IBPYP, IBMYP and a candidate school for DP to become the first governmental school in Africa authorized for the three IB programmes. The second school was inaugurated in October 2018.
