English and Bilingual Streams

Haut-Lac offers two parallel academic streams at all levels:

An English-only stream, ideal for families on short-term contracts in Switzerland or not seeking a bilingual education.
A French/English bilingual programme, taught by native-speaking teachers.
The students in the bilingual section study in English and French on alternate days.

IB Programmes and Results

IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students aged 11–16, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary learning.
IB Diploma Programme (DP), available in English, French, or bilingually, and recognised by leading universities worldwide.
Core components include the Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK), and Creativity, Action, Service (CAS).
Outstanding IB results with a 100% pass rate, an average score of 35 points, and a maximum score of 45.
