IB Diploma Programme at International School Brunei
Since 2001, ISB students in Years 12 and 13 have undertaken the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, recognized as the best preparation for university. At ISB, our IB students are offered subjects across the six IB Group areas.
In 2025, ISB students achieved an average IB score of 33.5, well above the global average of 30.58, with 43.5% of students scoring 34 points or more, and the highest score achieved was 42 points. Students also achieved an average grade of 5.2, surpassing the global average of 4.9, and outperformed their predicted baseline by 5.3 points. The results underscore ISB's track record of academic excellence and reinforce the school's position as the premier choice for IB education.
ISB supports students through their University admissions process with personalised guidance aimed at finding a University programme that best fits the individual's passion and interests. Every student from the 2025 cohort who applied to university received offers, with 25% at the top 50 universities in the world. Our students also received over USD$380,000 worth of university scholarship offers.
