Founded in 2002, the International School of Como (ISC) has grown to stand for excellence and has contributed to the expansion of international education in Northern Italy, as one of the almost 5,000 International Baccalaureate (IB) schools located worldwide. Today, ISC welcomes over 390 students from 2 to 18 years old of more than 40 nationalities and an international staff of more than 60 qualified teachers and assistants.

ISC is committed to providing children with the best educational experience possible. ISC offers the IB (International Baccalaureate) Primary Years, Middle Years, Diploma and Career-related Programmes and aspires to create a community where learning is the central driving factor of a journey in which our students become ethical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, community-minded and individuals of action on the world stage.

Our state-of-the-art campus was designed and built specifically for our students, offering everything needed for a vibrant, innovative, and academically rigorous educational experience. Spread across more than 10,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor areas, the campus features spacious classrooms, a robotics lab, two art studios, a rehearsal space and dedicated music rooms, three fully equipped science laboratories, a podcast studio, one theatre and a drama studio, a well-stocked library, an indoor gym, a football pitch, two outdoor multipurpose sports facilities, a cafeteria, and various playgrounds. The facilities also include an IBDPCP Study Centre and our 'CoLab', a shared workspace and coffee bar.

With our efficient bus service we can cover a large number of the surrounding communities, and beyond, including: Como, Lecco, Varese, and Chiasso (Switzerland).
