Welcome to the International School of Modena. With over 25 years of high quality education, the school has gained an average of 37.5 in the DP in 2024 and continues to be the top IB school in Italy. ISM started as a joint venture with Tetra Pak, whose global research and development unit is located in Modena. We are a truly international school representing approximately 38 different nationalities and offering the full continuum of International Baccalaureate (IB) education, with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children ages 3-11, Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11-16 and the Diploma Programme (DP) for 16-18 years. ISM is the first school in Emilia-Romagna to offer the IB Continuum, which fully prepares students for study all around the globe, including at some of the world's leading universities.
Our innovative Early Years department features beautiful spaces and play structures specially designed to support the delivery of the IB PYP and Reggio-Inspired Early Years Curriculum.
