Founded in 1961, the International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) is an award-winning, co-educational day school in Central Switzerland. As a non-profit International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we provide an exceptional education for students aged 3 to 18, preparing them for both university and life beyond.

We are a world-class learning community, where every individual feels safe, valued, and inspired. At ISZL, learning goes beyond the classroom. Our students explore the Swiss outdoors, lead service projects, perform on stage, compete in sports, and take on leadership roles. They are challenged to think critically, act with compassion, and use their curiosity to make a difference.

What defines us most is our community. Students, families, faculty, and staff share a deep sense of belonging, expressed simply in the phrase: "We are all ISZL." We are guided by values that shape daily life – courage, joy, curiosity, belonging, and service. These values give our learning purpose and ensure that every individual feels included and supported.

As a not-for-profit school, our focus is always on people, not profit. ISZL is a place where students grow as confident learners and caring individuals, and where families and staff know they are part of something bigger. It is where we belong, where we are inspired, and where together, we shape a future full of possibility.
