The ISTEK Schools is comprised of several K-12 campuses. As an educational organization and a community that believes in life-long learning, the Foundation is committed to constant innovation and by providing scholarships the Foundation strives for equal opportunity education. Working in national and international contexts, aiming to make positive contributions to both the country and the world's future, and giving priority to scientific inquiry defines ISTEK as a foundation apart.

ISTEK Baris Schools' student body is mainly composed of Turkish students. About 5% come from bilingual/bicultural backgrounds. The Turkish National Curriculum is implemented under the PYP framework.

The school library is very active and has a central role in the lives of the school community. The classrooms that are equipped with modern technology, the field trips organized during the year and access to various databases develop students' research skills and lead them to become active inquirers.

With open mindedness as a goal, open communication is promoted by all the members of the school community. The Student Council is very active and participates in code of conduct related management decisions, regarding the suggestions and wishes of the students. Students are always encouraged to express their opinions and respect others' views. Their opinions are valued and they are provided with many opportunities to take action.

Learning together and learning from one another through cooperative learning and our reflective-thinking-oriented assessment system, support ongoing development of the students and play a pivotal role in leading them to become autonomous learners.

Admission to ISTEK Baris Schools is offered on the basis of a school administered evaluation and according to the regulations of Turkish Ministry of Education.
