For more than 20 years, Kardinia International College has focused on the ideal of international understanding. The College was established as a symbol of hope for the world by being a place of quality and exceptional personal development, where people from every corner of the earth feel welcome and at home.

One of our aims is educating our students to a profound sense of internationalism. Graduates of Kardinia live in a global village. An understanding and deep respect of all other cultures is an essential characteristic of leaders and productive citizens of the 21st Century.

The College is independent, coeducational and non-denominational, providing a caring environment for 1900 day and international students from Kindergarten-Year 12.

As an IB World school, we offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP) in Kindergarten-6, a vertical curriculum based on the guidelines of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority to students in Years 7-10 and both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) and the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) in Years 11 and 12.

In the Senior School, the vertical curriculum offers advantages as students progress at a rate appropriate to their ability. Able students can fast track subjects, while other students can allow extra time for consolidation. Some students complete the IB Diploma or VCE in five years, most in six. An extensive range of VCE and IB subjects are available.

The Senior School curriculum is further strengthened by our International Immersion Programs. Our Year 9 students can join our positive, life changing eight-week Chiang Mai program in Thailand. Students can also visit our sister schools; Gotemba Nishi High in Japan, Saint Alyre in France and Discovery College in Hong Kong.

Our world class facilities include; Katsumata Centre - our 1500 seat theatre and gymnasium, Goodfellow Aquatic Centre, a 25-metre indoor pool and cafe, School of Performing Arts, Learning Commons, Six ovals, six tennis courts, a 1560 seat outdoor Amphitheatre and much more. Our main, 22-hectare campus is in Geelong, our Year 5, 11-hectare farm campus in Lovely Banks and our 2.5-hectare campus in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The emphasis at every year level at Kardinia International College is on academic rigour and we are renowned for the outstanding results our students achieve in Year 12 examinations every year. Integral to our success is that we encourage and expect positive student attitudes, understanding and actions towards each other, our community and the wider global environment.
