Kensington School is a premium, private, coeducational day school offering British education for children from the age of 18 months to 18 years (Pre-Nursery to Year 13). Our aim is to educate the whole person, with a complete academic and social education. The school is located on a purpose-built site with 1,100 students studying in excellent facilities. Founded in 1968, Kensington has ben a pioneer in British education in Spain, and is a founder member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain. The school regularly appears in listings of the top schools in Spain by Forbes, El Mundo,ABC, etc.

Kensington School follows the English National Curriculum to all students up to Year 9 (14 years old ), before allowing students the choice of paths for the last four years of their education : IGCSE and International Baccalaureate in English, or Spanish National Curriculum. This flexibility allows students to choose the language and learning approach which best suits them, and their intended university destination and career path; results in both pathways are excellent, and graduates go on to study at top universities in Spain and elsewhere.

Kensington has, as a British school, always had a strong commitment to holistic education, educating through the arts and sport, with termly concerts, sports days, tournaments and drama performances, and a strong after-school programme. The school has also been characterised by a close, nurturing, communicative relationship between families and the school. We have a team of two nurses and three psychologists on site to support the needs of children.

As a UNICEF partner school, Kensington has always had a strong international dimension to our education, and we are also delighted to offer the International Baccalaureate.

As a member of the Inspired group, Kensington students benefit from connection with a network of more than 100 schools across world, with the possibility of school exchanges and visits, and participating in a variety of summer camps.
