London International Academy (LIA) is a private, co-educational day and boarding school located in the beautiful "forest city" of London, Ontario, Canada.
LIA is an International Baccalaureate (IB) authorized world school with programme offerings from 9th to 12th grade in the Ontario Secondary School program (OSSD) as well as the IB Diploma Programme (11th and 12th grade). LIA offers small classes with sizes averaging 10-15 students per class.
The goal of LIA is to prepare and graduate our students for admissions to the top universities in Canada, United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, and the United States.

LIA is in a privileged position to have established University Pathway Programmes with some of the finest universities in the country, our graduates are heavily favoured in the universities in which they apply to. In some cases, our senior students can earn university credits while in their senior year of high school.
In addition to the highest-level academic standards, the school offers numerous leadership development options such as The Duke of Edinburgh Awards Society, The Circle Round Society, Model United Nations, and Student Prefects.
LIA's IB students continue to excel each year achieving excellent admission results. The 2023 IB cohort achieved 100% graduation rate with the highest grade achieved being 43. LIA is also known for their highly academic and hands on STEM program and is recognized for being amongst the top competitors in mathematics, robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, and science competitions across Canada.
In addition to exceptional academics and student leadership opportunities the school well understands the mental health and emotional needs of our students. All staff are trained in "Wellness" approaches to student counselling and support. In addition, we have on site counsellors trained to assist and support our students.
The school provides both boarding and homestay options. The boarding facility offers 24/7 supervision and meals provided by several local restaurants offering a variety of international cuisine. Its main campus, located in the heart of the city of London (Ontario), is a vibrant hub for activities and student innovation.
Student services takes an individualized approach to university admissions and applications having recently placed students at the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, University of British Columbia, Carnegie Melon, Imperial College, University of Manchester, Kings College, London School of Economics, University College of London, New York University, University of Amsterdam, University of Melbourne, Australia National University, Hong Kong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong.
