Madison schools have been nurturing minds and creating successful learning experiences for more than 45 years in our community. We have been fulfilling internationally certified academic standards through collaborative work, positive attitudes and core values. These are highly regarded in our schools.

Madison Campus Monterrey was the first school founded in the Madison Group of Schools, which are located in different Mexican states: Nuevo León, Yucatán, and Chihuahua.

Monterrey is a modern and industrial city, known as one of the three most industrious and important cities in Mexico.

Monterrey has at least four well-known universities with important international exchange programs and several smaller ones.

Madison Campus Monterrey became bilingual in 1994. Since then, it has had a strong emphasis on the English language.

The school has programs that nurture its students' development:

    * "Ruta de Independencia" School Trip: 5th-grade students spent five days travelling throughout different places in Mexico where the Independence Movement took place. This program enriches what they had learned in their classes, so they can live, themselves, a real learning experience.

  • United Nations Model: Academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about civics, effective communication, globalization, and multilateral diplomacy.
  • Youth Leader Explorer exhibition: organized by one of the most important high schools in Mexico where students develop different scientific skills.
  • French Immersion Program: a week program held in Quebec, Canada.
  • International trips: Every year we offer a complete Educational Travel Program to reinforce our main objective, that is to educate citizens of the world.

In 1999 the school decided to become part of the IB and began working towards its authorization. The school achieved authorization to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) in 2003 and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) in 2007.

We have had students from Russia, Argentina, Venezuela, Canada, Nicaragua, Colombia, United States, Philippines, Lebanon, Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, India, and Japan.

One of Madison Group of Schools' greatest strengths is an International Teachers Program that enhances our students' abilities to interact with foreign cultures and learn from them.

For the last fifteen years, we have had instructors from Canada, China, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, England, Ireland, Lebanon, Scotland, Poland, and the United States, teaching at our schools. Students and graduates from our school are well appreciated by the community and by the high schools they attend. Our well-articulated, inquisitive, mature and responsible graduates and students have already made a difference here in Mexico.

Madison Campus Monterrey is a certified school by SEP, an active member of FEP as well as IBAMEX.
