The Metropolitan School of Panama (MET), is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for students aged 3-18, and the only IB continuum school in Panama authorized to offer the PYP, MYP and DP programmes in Panama.
Celebrating 12 years of world-class academics, the MET offers Preschool through 12th grade programs, with 800 students hailing from 45 nationalities.

The MET's excellent results and acceptances at the world's leading universities are a testament to our excellent execution of the IB Programmes and our experienced teachers. The 2023 MET class achieved an excellent 90% IBDP pass rate, and a very high proportion of our Senior class (79%) studied for and achieved the IBDP. Our highest IB score was 43 points and 68% of our cohort earned a bilingual IB Diploma. MET graduates attend some of the most prestigious colleges and universities worldwide. Our 2023 graduating class received scholarship offers totalling $2.3M USD.
