About MGIS

Modern Global International Schools (MGIS) in Riyadh opened in September 2017 through a strategic partnership with Global Educational Excellence (GEE), a U.S.-based educational organization with over twenty-five years of experience managing schools across the United States and internationally. GEE works closely with MGIS to ensure the delivery of high-quality education aligned with U.S. Common Core Standards, guided by its mission:

Our Campuses and Community

MGIS currently operates two thriving campuses – Qortuba and Digital City – welcoming students from Nursery (4 months) to Grade 9 (ages 14–15), with expansion to Grade 12 in progress. Our diverse community includes students from over 40 nationalities and educators from more than 15 countries, fostering inclusion, collaboration, and intercultural understanding.

At MGIS, learning is guided by the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), emphasizing inquiry-based, student-centered learning. Middle School and Future Learning

The Middle School program (Grades 7–9) integrates U.S. Common Core Standards with the IB's inquiry-driven framework, developing critical and independent thinkers.
