Nord Anglia International School Rotterdam (NAISR) is a member of Nord Anglia Education's global family of premium schools. In addition to providing high quality international education for children from 3 to 18 years of age, NAISR is fully authorised to deliver the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) for students in their final two years of school.
Students studying the IBDP develop life skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, research and time management, which sets them up for success at university and beyond. The programme aims to develop confident and enthusiastic learners who respond to challenges with optimism and an open mind.
Universities in the Netherlands and around the world understand the academic rigour of the IBDP and therefore hold the IB Diploma in high esteem. IBDP graduates are accepted into the best colleges and universities.
At NAISR, IB students have the opportunity to gain a bilingual IB Diploma. As an IBDP option, bilingual students can study two language courses from the ‘Studies in Language & Literature’ subject group to be awarded with the prestigious ‘IB Bilingual Diploma’. Alternatively, students who score highly in the ‘Studies in Language & Literature’ and in one other subject completed in a language other than English, will also receive the ‘IB Bilingual Diploma’. This special qualification recognises a student’s high level of multilingual skills and is well received on university applications.
NAISR is excited to be opening their brand new ‘Nord Anglia IB Academy Rotterdam’ during the Summer of 2021 – a space dedicated to their Years 12 and 13 students. This space will provide students with a modern and purposeful space to study, collaborate, and relax. Students will also have easy access to the IB Coordinator and College Counsellor with a range of meeting spaces for students, staff and parents.
If you have any questions, or you would like to learn more about the IB or NAISR, please don’t hesitate to contact their friendly admissions team at firstname.lastname@example.org or 010 422 5351.
