Qatar Academy Sidra (QAS) is a rapidly growing school, currently serving over 620 students who represent approximately 40 nationalities. QAS was initially established to serve the needs of Qatar Foundation (QF) and Sidra Medicine employee families, and has since expanded to cater to the growing demand for QF schools.
QAS is a dynamic, kind and responsive learning community that challenges learners of today to inspire them to be the change-makers of tomorrow. QAS believes there is a leader in everyone. Students at QAS are empowered learners with strong skills and a sense of self for a life filled with opportunity. QAS graduates are compassionate responsible citizens who achieve their full academic and personal potential.
As an inclusive and multilingual community, QAS is committed to creating opportunities for every child so that every individual is personally and academically empowered with 'roots to grow and wings to fly'. The school values of respect, integrity and unity lead to a culture of kindness. This culture enables QAS to create a nurturing environment for each child’s wellbeing, passion, and talents.
The school is currently located in the lively Education City campus and is in the process of designing a new maker-space inspired campus for the future.
